Home made Italian bread crumbs
Next time you are looking for a low sodium topping to add a little crunch and flavor to a casserole or some veggies, give this a try. This can be made in bigger batch and stored indefinitely in the freezer.
  • 1/2 c Bread
  • 1 t Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 t Sesame Seeds
  • 1 T Wheat Germ
  • 1/2 t Celery Seed
  • 1/2 t Oregano
  • 1/4 t Garlic Powder
  • 1 t Minced Onion
  • 1/2 t Parsley
  • 1 t Italian Seasoning
  • 1 1/2 t Buttermilk Powder
Combine all ingredients and mix well
Yield: 4 Servings
